Pebble Beach Food and Wine – #Meatopia

Central Coast Events is proud to be a part of Pebble Beach Food and Wine 8th annual Festival. Our beautiful Monterey Beach House is going to be home to Esquire award-winning food editor Josh Ozersky who will be hosting the ever favorite and most popular #Meatopia.

We will be welcoming Matt Accarrino from SPQR San Francisco who was honored by Food and Wine Magazine “Best New Chef” of 2014. He will be bringing his Michelin star style to the ever cool and casual beach bbq. Chad Colby from LA’s chi Spacca named best new restaurant by GQ magazine, Time Out Magazine and Los Angeles magazine will be proving his knowledge of house-cured gastronomy. From Portland we welcome Greg and Gabi Denton of the Argentine-inspired Ox restaurant. The Iron Chef himself Jose Garces will be bringing his knife skills and culinary eclecticism to the party. We’re excited to see the competition in action and, of course, taste it. Speaking of the party, Kevin Gillespie star on Bravo’s “TOP CHEF” of the Brazilian churrascaria style Gunshow restaurant in Atlanta will be showing us what is so awesome about Pure Pork Awesomeness. First ever certified Pitmaster of Brazil will be smoking, roasting and grilling on our beautiful beach, Andre Lima de Luca the ultimate fire specialist will be joining and sharing with us his Italian-Brazilian deliciousness. For some modern Spanish cuisine the good looking and great taste of Seamus Mullen from Tertulia, the award-winning restaurant of New York will be presenting the value of great food. The influence of culinary trends Mr. Zachary Pelaccio of the Fish & Game project will walking us through the growing, raising and serving of great cuts. For some contemporary American cuisine we welcome John Tesar winner of Food Network’s Extreme Chef and owner of the acclaimed best new restaurant Knife. Last but not least we welcome our local legend, teacher of all things butchery and charcuterie, the Pigwizard himself Jonathon Roberts who will be holding his own against the chef masters bringing his delicious and inventive roasting of pigs.
